  • Leslie’s Conditioner Pool Stabilizer 8 lbs.

  • Concentrated dry stabilizer for chlorinated swimming pools

  • 100% cyanuric acid

  • Protects chlorine from UV Rays

  • Reduces the cost of chlorine

  • Slows chlorine loss caused by the sun’s UV rays

  • Dosage: 2-1/2 lbs. per 10,000 gallons raises CYA level by 30 ppm

Main Application

Pool Chemical Stabilizer: CYA is primarily used as a chlorine stabilizer in swimming pools. It helps protect chlorine from degradation by ultraviolet (UV) rays, thereby extending the lifespan of chlorine in the water. This ensures that the chlorine can effectively sanitize the pool water for a longer period.

Synthesis of Chlorinated Derivatives: CYA serves as a raw material for synthesizing dichlorinated and trichlorinated compounds.

Other Uses: Besides its use in pools, CYA is also used in the production of bleaches, herbicides, flame retardants, and as an additive in cosmetics

Faqs

A white crystalline powder organic compound (C3H3N3O3), odorless, soluble in hot water. It is a key raw material for disinfectants, with stable chemical properties and pH buffering ability.

  1. Disinfectant production (SDIC, TCCA raw material); 2. Water treatment (stabilizes chlorine in pools); 3. Plastic additives (improves heat resistance); 4. Coating industry (crosslinking agent); 5. Pharmaceutical intermediates.
  1. Purity grade: Industrial-grade (95-98%), pharmaceutical-grade (≥99%); 2. Crystal form: Anhydrous type, monohydrate type; 3. Application: Disinfectant-grade, plastic-grade, pharmaceutical-grade.
  1. Pool water stabilization: 10-15g/m³, maintain concentration 30-50mg/L; 2. Disinfectant synthesis: React with chlorine gas/sodium hydroxide; 3. Plastic processing: Add 0.5-2% to raw materials, mix evenly before molding.
  1. Cool, dry, ventilated place (≤30℃); 2. Sealed to prevent moisture; 3. Store separately from oxidants, acids; 4. Keep away from children, food.
  1. Urea pyrolysis (200-250℃); 2. Condensation reaction; 3. Filtration, crystallization; 4. Drying, crushing, inspection, packaging.
  1. Wear gloves, avoid skin/eye contact; rinse with water if contacted; 2. Do not mix with strong oxidants/acids; 3. Avoid dust inhalation; operate in ventilation; 4. Dispose of waste as industrial solid waste.
